My thoughts after practice presentation.
After Tuesday’s presentation, where we presented with Pablo, we as a group realized a few important things about what we had to do for our future steps. Firstly, we went quite a bit past the 10 minute allocated time per group, so we really needed to emphasize focusing on what we thought was the most important information for Thursday’s presentation, since it was a 5 minute time slot per group. Secondly, we were looking onto the topics of waste and homelessness. And quite a bit of our information didn’t fully work well together. So in retrospective, it seemed like were were trying to tie a story together but each chapter was taken from a very different book.
My thoughts after 25% presentation
We still have to improve our project going forward and choose a niche topic. But as a group and personally, we thought we had made quite a lot of improvement between the practice and the 25% presentations. We took out a lot of information that we didn’t think was as important and narrowed our project to focus on just waste and not into homelessness. Additionally, we kept some of the most important information while adding additional, valuable information such as Boycott, Divest, & Sanctions (BDS) and the idea of giving agency to the consumer
